This report shows the amount in arrears broken down into the different user-defined periods or age groups as at a given date e.g."30/11/2020". This report can be displayed according to two formats i.e portfolio classes or arrears classes as seen below.

How to view the Ageing Report.
To view the Ageing Report you go to Loans/Portfolio Reports/Ageing Report and the following screen appears:
Reporting date: In the drop down, enter the date up to which you want the ageing report to be generated e.g. "30/11/2020".
Branch code: From the drop down select the Branch code that you want to report on e.g "KA"
Loan Fund: From the drop down, select a particular Loan Fund that you want to the ageing report generated e.g "World Bank Grant". For the loan funds to appear here, they should have been entered under System/Configuration/Funds.
Include all active loans (not only arrears): Select this option if you want the report to Include all active loans and not just those that are in arrears.
Additional filtering options? This option is used to get a particular field or specification that you want. It helps you to narrow down the search for information that you need. When you check this option and click OK, a pop up screen will appear. See below:
In the Additional filtering options pop up screen, select the required filter criteria from the drop down boxes, e.g., NAME='Ananth Angel Moger', Relational Operator, e.g., "=" (Equals sign) AND ClientCode, e.g., "KA/I/000003".
Click the OK button if all the data entered is sufficient.
You will get another pop up information screen showing the filter for the ageing report that was selected. As seen below:
Report currency: From the drop down select the currency in which the report will appear, e.g., "UGX". In case the report has transactions in other currencies too, then LPF will convert all other transactions in to the report currency.
Loan Product: From the drop down box, select a loan Product that you want to generate a report about. The Loan product depends on what was set at Menu System/Configuration/Products. You may have Loan Products like School Fees Loans, Agricultural Loans etc. In the example above, the "For all" option is selected in order to have an arrears report for all Loan Products
Show additional classes: Check this option for additional classes to be displayed.
Arrears classes: When this option is selected, the report will be displayed according to arrears classes. The amount in arrears will be broken down into different user-defined periods.
Portfolio Classes: When this option is selected, the ageing report classes will be displayed according to Portfolio at Risk.
Add additional class: Click this checkbox to display an additional arrears class. Every click adds a class up to a maximum of seven (7) classes.
Remove Additional Class: Click this checkbox to remove/reduce the number of arrears classes displayed. Every click removes a class up to a minimum of five (5) classes.
Print order: Select from the drop down box how the ageing report should be generated or classified i.e. in the column title/heading. In the first screen on this page, client name is selected.
Include loans with dues on reporting date: Select this option and the report will display loans in arrears including those that fall due on the reporting date.
